Zoe's 2024 GiveBig TINFA Fundraiser

TINFA empowers teachers to bring 21st century skills to kids in underserved areas of developing countries, by providing equipment and training to teachers and partners with education officials and parents to facilitate activities to keep kids in school.

I have had the pleasure of being on the TINFA board for 4 years now. In these 4 years, I have witnessed the profound impact that the TINFA program has had on students and teachers in rural Guatemala. It is no secret that it takes a village to integrate technology into these partner schools, to see tangible results, and keep it alive even after the TINFA program is complete.

This year's GiveBig theme is "Strength in Community, Impact for Generations''. This theme centers around the idea of community strength and support. It emphasizes how TINFA's program fosters a culture of collaboration and support among teachers and students, leading to lasting impact for current and future generations. The theme also represents the community that comes together to make the programs possible, starting with the ministry of education and including the parents, PTA, and students, teachers, and directors past and present.
