Ten years ago, SAFe Rescue saved Leo from being euthanized for having a treatable skin infection, ringworm and brought him into our lives. All the purrs and loves and silly string games since have been a credit to the Rescue's kindness.

When we adopted Leo ten years ago, SAFe was just moving into their first building and planning their first grand opening. So much has happened since then, and SAFe has grown so much that last summer SAFe Rescue moved to a new home in Shoreline with twice as much square footage as the previous location--That means twice as much space for housing and feeding kitties, for medical care and recovery, and for helping community members care for their pets! 

This year, SAFe Rescue is celebrating a decade of helping cats together! It's been an incredible journey, filled with amazing growth, heartwarming stories of transformation, and the unwavering support of compassionate kitty lovers like you. Together, with your help, we can continue to grow our programs and realize the full potential of this space.
