Whether it’s a kitten needing vaccinations or a senior cat requiring specialized medical treatment, we provide homeless cats with the care, love, and attention they need. Devoted foster families help them to heal and feel confident. Then, we help them find a loving home—and our commitment doesn’t stop there. We’re here for our community with ongoing support like the Stay SAFe Pet Pantry and low-cost wellness clinics to help pets stay with the people who love them.

Meet Esther, from High Fever to Happy Purrs

What started as a routine spay surgery turned into a life-saving journey for two-year-old Esther. When she arrived at SAFe Rescue, we quickly discovered that her health issues went far beyond what we expected. From a high fever and respiratory infection to a fractured leg and an unusual abdominal mass, Esther’s path to recovery was filled with challenges. Thanks to the expertise of SAFe's medical team, a dedicated foster home, and your generous support, Esther is now ready to start a new chapter.
