About Plymouth Healing Communities

Over the last 24 years, PHC has provided over 34,000 sheltered nights to more than 275 individuals transitioning out of inpatient mental health, drug and alcohol treatment, and homelessness. 95% of our residents have moved into permanent housing.

Mental illness affects millions of people in the United States and around the world, and it can be especially difficult for people who do not have a home. Founded in 2000, Plymouth Healing Communities aims to provide a home and healing community for every person in Greater Seattle with mental illness.

Give the Gift of Hope and Healing

Plymouth Healing Communities provides companionship, housing, and circles of support for people who live with mental illness and housing instability. At PHC, we believe that healing takes place when people are shown the care, love, and respect we all deserve. We put that belief into action by providing small-scale permanent housing, circles of support, and companionship for the most vulnerable among us.

Our Companionship Program offers social support, group outings, and one-on-one connections to individuals inside and outside our housing. We have trained more than 65 companions committed to walking alongside our residents. Our program is grounded in the belief that we all have a responsibility to care for one another and to view individuals through a non-judgmental lens. Our companions are committed to providing dedicated service and support, and we take pride in their positive impact on our residents' lives.
