Funds go directly to providing lifesaving medical care to cats waiting for homes

$3,000 goal

We have been covering the costs of care for cats who might otherwise be turned away from other shelters by our adoption fees and generous intermittent donations.

In order to be able to sustain this work, we are creating medical care fund so that we do not have to make life and death decisions based on the balance of our checkbook.

We are naming our initiative "Fill in the Tank" in honor of our favorite big guy, Tank who, while in foster care, had lifesaving surgery to remove bladder stones and blockage.

He is an otherwise healthy cat who is bonded with his friend Mosie and loves people, snuggles and soaking up the sun! We are so proud of how far he has come.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 this season for the medical expenses so we do not have to turn away any rescue cats with medical needs in the year ahead.

All donations toward the medical fund will go directly to the expenses of saving these lives.

For more stories of how we are actively rescuing kitties, providing surgeries such as spay and neuter, and giving shelter and food to those who would otherwise be without, visit our Instagram page.
