The Power of the Club
As a member of the Board of Directors, I have had a front-row seat to watching our amazing organization innovate and adapt to changing needs in our communities, especially over the past several years. This past year Boys & Girls Clubs of King County launched one of its biggest and most significant endeavors, our Mental Wellness program.
This program provides in-club mental health services including mental health counseling, improved prosocial programming, and new trauma-informed response training for our staff. Together, these resources ensure that any young person needing professional behavioral heath care services and/or intervention receives them right away, in a place they and their families already know and trust.
This year, our GiveBig campaign has set a goal of raising $200,000 to support Boys & Girls Clubs of King County's mental wellness program. With your contribution, one of any size, we can ensure that we will always be able to serves the kids and families that need us the most. Please consider donating to our program and clubs. Thank you!!
