Conversations with Dad for Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday we at Dads MOVE are asking you to start a conversation. This is a call to action.

1. · We ask you to start a conversation with your coworkers, your family, and your friends. Talk about what is important to you and what you want to see improved in your community. Discuss how the impact of families having support and becoming whole matters to you.
2. · We ask you to start a conversation with your employer and ask them to help Dads MOVE become a part of the giving portfolio for 2024 at your place of employment. Please spend a few moments and email your HR, or Community Responsibility team and ask them how to help us at Dads M.O.V.E. become an option for monthly donation commitments at your workplace. Studies have shown that it’s not the corporations themselves that keep the lights on for many nonprofits across the country, it’s the smaller donations given from the workforce, at a rate of over 80% of donations nationally. It is the monthly commitments of $5, $10, or any other amount that makes the difference.

We have a desire to help reach families across the state of Washington to provide the support they need in navigating sometimes very difficult waters. We can only do this with the support from our community. Having these conversations lays the foundation for change. Take the time to have this conversation, your voice matters!
