Our local chapter is proud to support Washington Council of the Blind and we invite you to join us.
South King Council of the Blind has been serving as a resource for blind and visually impaired members of South King County since 2005 -- to educate, advocate, support, and live the lives we’re meant to live. We’re the local chapter of WCB and we’re excited to have the opportunity to raise awareness of WCB and our chapter as well.
Our past activities include a cooking workshop for kids, a trip to Olympia to meet with legislators, providing braille and large-print menus to restaurants, food drives for area food banks, beep baseball, supporting Lions events, adaptive bowling, picnics, wine tastings, car washes, game days, tactile arts, technology updates, attending audio-described plays and movies, and assisting people attending the WCB convention
Your donation to WCB will support the programs and services we need in this state and in our South King community. Thank you for your support!
