I've been helping organize HONK! Festival West since 2022. A pretty common question I get asked is, what instrument do you play? The answer: none. I call myself a proud HONK! groupie. I absolutely love brass bands. HONK! brings me such joy, and I wanted to give back to it.
There are so many ways to get involved in HONK! Festival West - you can join a band, you can volunteer for just an hour at our festival, you can attend the festival and tell everyone you know about it! And, you can give us money.
HFW is a 501c3 registered nonprofit organization. We rely on donations and grants to run a 3 day free, outdoor festival and other year round programming.
Join me in celebrating and supporting this wonderful organization! And I hope to see you at our annual festival - it's the first weekend in June!
