Casa Latina was the first place that Jorge and Mattie started volunteering when we moved to Seattle in March 2022. Since then, the Casa Latina has welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to contribute to making our new city a place where immigrants can thrive just as we have. Over the past year, we have witnessed how Casa Latina empowers and capacitates our immigrant neighbors with the skills and confidence needed to excel in this country. Through our role as instructors with the digital literacy program, we helped immigrant community members gain valuable computer skills. Additionally, through our work in the call center, we connected day laborers skilled in painting, yard maintenance, etc. with Seattle home owners in need of help with yard and home projects.

If you are able, please consider donating a few (or many!) dollars to support this very special community of change-makers we have found. The first $10,000 raised will be DOUBLED thanks to a campaign match!

Another great way to support Casa Latina: hire a worker (https://casa-latina.org/house-cleaning-seattle/) to help you with tasks such as indoor cleaning, moving, painting, yard work, and more.
