MEN IN DANCE returns with our Choreographers Showcase and are looking to produce 5 choreographers and present their work over three days of performances. In this unique format, following each showing of the pieces, there will be a live feedback session held onstage with an adjudicated panel of dance professionals and a moderator. Audience members are also invited to write their feedback for each piece, and these feedback cards will be distributed to choreographers for their creative benefit.
Each choreographer will receive a stipend for their work, and at least one artist will be invited back to join us for our Festival in the Fall of 2026.
This year we have set a goal of $3400 which goes directly to the following:
- $500 for each choreographer
- $100 honorarium for each of our panelists
