Jesus is God Ministry is an outreach church ministry that goes out to the streets daily in South King county to reach the poor and forgotten with the love and the power of Jesus Christ. Our tools are bibles, food, clothing, hygiene items, blankets, and resources for housing and for mental health/addiction. Our goal is to reach one person at a time with God’s love, over and over again to encourage them that coming back into society is a good thing.

Our Ministry serves our community in the following ways:

Weekday Outreach – Monday through Friday, our volunteer teams go out to reach the lost souls of Des Moines and Federal Way. Our volunteers take sack lunches, bibles (thank you to Christ's Church Federal Way!), clothing and hygiene items as we have them and distribute these items to the homeless and needy.

Community Meal – Every Thursday and Sunday, we host a community meal for those in need.

Celebrate Recovery Meetings – We regularly host Celebrate Recovery Meetings, where we help people struggling with addiction become accountable to the Lord. Soon, we will also host Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings to enable us to witness to people in these programs.

Clean & Sober Housing Program – We offer housing programs for men coming out of prison or struggling to find housing with a prison background. We disciple and share the truth and love of God’s word with them. The ministry currently has two homes for men – our second home recently opened in August 2022.

Men’s Bible Study – Our Men’s Bible Study program helps hold men accountable to one another for anything from everyday issues to the struggles that led them to prison.

Monthly Women’s Programs – We offer monthly programs to support and counsel women who have struggled with drug or alcohol addiction, or who have been involved in sex trafficking or homelessness.
