Gene Juarez Supports Food Lifeline!

Gene Juarez is proud to partner with Food Lifeline to support their mission to feed people experiencing hunger today while solving for hunger tomorrow.

Food Lifeline is on a mission to end hunger in western Washington. They believe that access to food is a fundamental human right and that nobody deserves to be hungry. Food Lifeline provides nutritious food to 1.7 million people facing hunger by sourcing nutritious food from various food industry partners comprised of farms, manufacturers, grocery stores, restaurants, and more. They distribute through a network of 299 food banks, shelters, and meal programs, with over 500 individual distribution sites all over western Washington. 

At the same time, they are working to end hunger for the future by addressing its root causes, including poverty, racial inequity, and social injustice. They do this through advocacy efforts to shape local, state, and federal policy, by partnering with organizations addressing other causes of poverty, and through engagement and bundling food assistance with other community-based programs and services.
