Dear Friends and Family,
I have gotten to know Casa Latina by volunteering with the organization for over ten years, teaching English and serving on the board. Casa Latina has been a constant source of inspiration and energy to our members, staff and volunteers. I have seen the immigrant workers who are supported by Casa Latina get much better employment by establishing our members' wages through a democratic process, and sometimes even starting their own businesses from forming relationships with their customers and their neighbors. They also get better work through learning English and other skills.
Casa Latina is a non-profit organization that advances the power of Latinx immigrant workers through employment, education, and community organizing. Their programs combine direct services with community organizing. They support their members to participate fully in the democracy and economy of this country by providing workforce development training, education classes, and training to become key advocates in the community to build a more equitable future for all immigrants.
Join me in amplifying their impact! The first $10,000 raised will be DOUBLED thanks to a campaign match! We deeply appreciate whatever you can give to support our efforts.
All the best,
Dan Ford
Board President
