We have been helping families in Cowlitz County for over 25 years, but this year we have newly transitioned to become a non-profit organization. Our mission is to bring the community together to create opportunities to help at risk youth and families succeed.  Our priority since 2020 has been supporting issues regarding the child care crisis in our community. We provide programs, educational trainings, and knowledge of resources for in-home and licensed child caregivers and parents to gain skills they need to help improve the quality of care they are providing for children.

Part of our program includes a book club on Conscious Discipline to increase caregivers' knowledge of social-emotional development.  Parents and caregivers learn to recognize and manage their emotions so they can communicate and teach coping skills to their children, so they can manage their big emotions and behaviors.  Parents appreciate that our program also offers childcare during sessions so they are able to participate.

Our Child Caregivers Support Program helps to strengthen the quality and safety of the care being provided for children by connecting child caregivers and parents to needed resources and supports.

Your donation will help us support more families and children and allow us to continue working together as a coordinated system to increase access and capacity to build resiliency in the lives of vulnerable families and children in Cowlitz County.
