Picture a community gathering for a powerful storytelling night in their own neighborhood.  Envision a local musician captivating an audience at an intimate concert. These moments are the heart of Abbey Arts, and YOU can help make them possible for ALL!

Every dollar you donate fuels our mission:

• Transform the Fremont Abbey Experience: With your help, we can invest in an installed simple sound system for our venue. This will increase access to quality sound for dancers and emerging local artists. From local bands and touring musicians to spoken word performers and theatrical productions, everyone will benefit from an accessible sound system for their event. This system would remove the need to hire on multiple staff members to use our  more complex system and would enable dance and small music events to have access to professional sound, no matter their budget. 
• Empower Emerging Artists:  We are building our equipment lending library (think speakers, monitors, sound board, microphones!) to help local artists share their talent with the world.

Why we need $10,805 (yes, we have an exact number):

Our dream of increasing access to quality sound for all artists within Fremont Abbey hinges on a crucial set of equipment: a simple installed sound system. This integrated sound system will cost $10K to purchase and install in our Great Hall space. Your generous GiveBIG contribution will directly translate into making this dream a reality.

We've already carefully researched a variety of sound systems to ensure we find the best fit for our needs and budget. Investing in this equipment will not only elevate our own venue's offerings, but also allow us to extend a helping hand to the wider artistic community, even beyond the city limits of Seattle.

• Break down barriers and expand our equipment accessibility! Local artists won't be limited by lack of equipment or expensive staffing costs, and communities without performance spaces can have simpler access to professional-grade shows.
• Provide a platform for diverse voices and artistic expressions. Accessible sound means every artist that comes through has the chance to be heard loud and clear!
• Spark creativity and ignite imaginations in communities across Seattle! From dance classes to live music, your support brings the magic of the arts to everyone.
