Located a stone's throw away from the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal, the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) is open everyday from 10AM - 5PM, 363 days a year. We are able to keep our doors open and free to the public thanks to generous donors and members. Since its opening in June 2013, BIMA has served over 500,000 visitors from the local area, across the nation and the world.

Thanks to supporters like you, we are proud to have had over ten successful years engaging youth and adults through our exhibitions, educational initiatives, community partnerships and PRISM, our cultural programming.

Each year BIMA continues to advance our mission to showcase the contemporary art and craft of the Puget Sound area. BIMA truly has become a community gathering place and we greatly appreciate everyone sharing in our success. Without you, realizing our mission would not be possible.

Please join us in the galleries for our spring 2024 exhibition featuring artists Kathy Ross, Kumi Korf, Gary Groves, Art Grice and many more from our permanent. You can also experience the exhibitions online. We strive to make art more accessible to all in the Puget Sound region and beyond.
