Join Carol in Supporting Casa! Latina

Hello all, 

I am Carol Silverio the daughter of hardworking Mexican immigrants. As a first-generation Latina college student, I feel grateful to work with an empowering organization. 

Casa Latina is a non-profit organization that advances the power of Latinx immigrant workers through employment, education, and community organizing.

I have had the privilege of volunteering as a tech intern for Casa Latina in their digital literacy course. This class is offered to any members who wish to further their knowledge on digital navigation and internet safety. The course is taught in Spanish, and through collaboration with my supervisors at this organization, I have been able to meaningfully contribute to and foster this learning space. Through my interactions with Casa Latina members, I have witness immense progress and growth in this area, which inspires me tremendously.
