The Max Foundation

The Max Foundation (Max) is a nonprofit global health organization that envisions a world in which all people can access high-impact medicines, where geography is not destiny, and where everyone can strive for health with dignity and hope. We do this by delivering medication, technology, and services to patients facing cancer and other critical illnesses, focusing our energy on those no one else is helping.

Each day, 2 billion people around the globe are unable to get basic medication due to lack of access in their communities. At Max, we provide life-extending medication and patient services to over 34,000 patients in more than 80 low- and middle-income countries, for free, for as long as they need our support. Our work is supported by over 900 partners, including physicians, hospitals, patient organizations, and global NGOs. Since our inception, we have supported more than 100,000 patients - some for over 20 years.
