Mission

Seattle Glee Clubs is a community-based music organization committed to providing adult amateur singers with choral experiences that are rich, rewarding and fun.

Description

Established in 2001, Seattle Glee Clubs (SGC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, dedicated to nurturing adults in their exploration of music. SGC provides a welcoming environment where music is celebrated in two traditions, choral and jazz.

The Seattle Metropolitan Singers (nicknamed The Met) is an adult choir that performs choral music within the soprano and alto ranges. We invite members from across the gender spectrum and from the novice to the experienced to join us.

The Offbeats Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a group of men and women who perform high-caliber vocal jazz arrangements in a variety of styles.

It is also SGC’s intent to foster an appreciation of the music its choirs perform and to demonstrate the meaningful role music can play in our communities.  More information can be found at https://www.seattlegleeclubs.org/ .
