The Queen Anne Historical Society 

Our mission: To preserve, protect and share the history of the

 people and places of Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood.

Queen Anne is more than turn of the turn of the century mansions. It is the small neighborhood homes, businesses, people and trees that make this a special place to live. The preservation of buildings and places helps tell the stories of the people of Queen Anne from the past to contemporary residents for a sense of community in our constantly evolving neighborhood.  

We have protected many historically significant structures and places in our neighborhood. There are now 54 landmarks in the Queen Anne community. This year, we are excited to have a matching fund of $5,000 - half of the cost of applying for a landmark. If we can reach our $5,000 goal with your gifts, we can start the process to protect another Queen Anne historical structure.
