In 2023, Pro-Choice Washington committed to expanding our organizational reach. 

With the hiring of two staff members based in Spokane, we have activists working across the state who understand their communities and the barriers to care that people face. 

Despite this period of growth, our work has only intensified in the face of increased national and state attacks on reproductive rights.  

Justice Alito’s opinion in the 2022 Dobbs decision laid bare that the anti-abortion movement will stop at nothing to ban abortion nationwide. They plan to dismantle trans rights and same-sex marriage next. 

With Trump on the ballot this November, we can take nothing for granted.
