Mission

Pacific Science Center ignites curiosity in every child and fuels a passion for discovery, experimentation, and critical thinking in all of us.

Pacific Science Center has been a leader of informal STEM education in Washington for more than 60 years. In addition to our historic landmark location in Seattle, we bring world-class interactive science education to students across Washington with programs like Science on Wheels, Digital Discovery Workshops, Camps for Curious Minds, and more.

Description

PacSci is proud to bring curiosity-sparking science experiences to hundreds of thousands of community members each year. PacSci's interactive on-campus experiences include improvements to our beloved Tropical Butterfly House and Planetarium, refreshed and new exhibits such as Brainy Bodies, a new and expanding (to a future 12,000 square foot buildout!) Maker & Innovation Lab, and more.

In 2024, 480K+ guests visited PacSci, 99,783 students across Washington state learned through play with Science on Wheels, and 28% of our members were Access Members (free or deeply discounted memberships), which are offered to our community through the support of donors like you.

And this summer of 2025, we'll host 4,500+ campers at six camp locations across King County, including offering more than 300 full camp scholarships so kiddos can stay engaged with science all summer regardless of their family's ability to pay. We can continue to offer discounted and free opportunities for all to enjoy PacSci with your help.

Give BIG today to invest in the next generation of curious minds. Thank you!
