Mission
Uniting in service to families, with children, experiencing homelessness.
About Us
The Interfaith Family Shelter operates 5 emergency shelter programs to help families with children in Snohomish County overcome homelessness and achieve permanent housing:
1. The Family Shelter (Everett, WA) - accommodates 11 families
2. Scattered site shelters: Miracle House (Marysville, WA) - accommodates 2 families; Hospitality House (Everett, WA) - accommodates 3 families
3. Madison Family Shelter (Everett, WA) - tiny-home community, accommodates 8 families
4. Cars-to-Housing - safe-parking-and-rehousing program for families living in their vehicles, accomodates 5 families
What sets us apart:
- We provide families with up to 90 days of shelter, and the resources to rebuild their lives.
-
We accept single dads and families with teenage sons (not accepted at many other shelters) - this keeps families together!
- We operate 43% of all family shelter units in Snohomish County!
We have among the highest success rates in Snohomish County: 72% of families achieve permanent housing after our 90-day program ...and 80% of them are still housed one year later.
