Forgotten Dogs Rescue

A nonprofit organization

Mission

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a foster based rescue organization located in Washington State. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs in local shelters, given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, or in danger of abuse or neglect. We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope-the forgotten dogs.

Description

While Forgotten Dogs Rescue will take in any breed, we primarily rescue Pit Bull type dogs and mixes and other bully breeds. We focus on rescuing dogs from Washington State shelters, especially in Eastern Washington. We were formed in 2011, and have foster homes in the greater Seattle and Tri-Cities areas.

Once a dog enters the Forgotten Dogs Rescue program, we are committed to it for life. Our dogs live in private foster homes where they receive love, training, and learn to be members of the family. They receive all necessary medical care, and if they come to us with behavioral issues, we invest in training. We are committed to do whatever is necessary to help them become adoptable and find amazing forever homes. And if at any point an adoption doesn't work out, we will always welcome the dog back into our program. We promise that our dogs will never be forgotten again.
