Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum

A nonprofit organization

Mission

Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum connects a dynamic literary community through a curated book collection, diverse programming, and opportunities for engaging conversations.

Description

Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum is a nonprofit member supported library and cultural center located in the historic Pike Place Market. Devoted to the intellectually curious and supported by a community of members and donors Folio serves the region's creative community by being an incubator for new ideas.

Folio offers a place for avid readers, aspiring writers and curious minds to gather in community to create, explore, and engage in meaningful conversations. As a non-profit member supported library, Folio is committed to the unfettered exchange of ideas.

We rely on the generosity of our members and patrons to continue our mission of serving the literary community in Seattle. Your donation enables us to expand our circulating book collection, offer more literary, civic and music programs, and keep the library open and accessible to all.

This GiveBIG we hope you will help us reach our goal of $20,000 by making a tax-deductible contribution to Folio today. All donations will be matched by our Board of Trustees up to $10,000!

Thank you for being part of our community!
