The mission of Families and Friends of Violent Crime Victims dba Victim Support Services is to support and advocate for victims of crime, adult missing persons, and their loved ones, and to provide education about victims' rights and services.

Description

Since we were founded in 1975, Victim Support Services formerly Families and Friends of Violent Crime Victims has provided free services to victims of crime.  We are one of the oldest victim advocacy agencies in the nation and the first in Washington State.  The goal of VSS is to help victims navigate the criminal justice system and provide support along their journey from victim to survivor.  We provide crisis intervention, one-on-one advocacy, criminal justice system advocacy and intervention, courtroom support, media intervention and resources, referrals and education.
