Everett Museum of History

A nonprofit organization

Mission

The mission of Everett Museum of History is to connect the community with its heritage through inclusive educational exhibits, programs and activities.

Description

The historic Van Valey House features period furnishings, items from the Van Valey and Morrow families who called it home, and the Sen. Henry M. Jackson Room.  Quarterly exhibits showcase items from our extensive collection.

The Museum has purchased the 1904 Everett Herald Newspaper building in downtown Everett, and renovations are underway so it will safely house our collection of more than 65,000 artifacts of significant value to the community.

Our vision is a dynamic heritage museum for innovative, exploratory, and experiential opportunities for all people groups, ages, and abilities. We see a community space where lively discussions happen; where the audience is always engaged--and everyone has the freedom to see, touch, and participate with our shared history.
