Elevating children with special needs to reach their full potential by providing access to the resources and support they need to improve their families' overall quality of life.

Description

We all benefit when children with special needs are given what they need to become as successful in their community as their abilities allow. Elevations provides funding for speech, occupational, physical, and other therapies by licensed therapists as well as home therapy equipment for children with special needs age birth to 18 in Spokane County. Choosing between paying for food/household expenses or paying for therapy services is a crushing decision that families face. Delaying treatment or skipping therapy sessions will adversely affect their child's future. Too many parents must choose to either delay/cut services or take on crippling debt, putting their family's future at risk as well as their child's well-being.

Elevations' grants help to alleviate the overwhelming stress of caring for a child with special needs by providing financial support so that all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Therapy services, delivered when they are needed in childhood, will completely change the trajectory of their child's life.

Whether the child's grant is for copays towards occupational therapy, funding for speech therapy services, physical therapy deductibles, specialized home equipment, or other therapy services not covered by insurance that enhance the quality of life for these children, together we can positively affect their future.

●Donations of any amount can help offset deductibles, co-pays, or fund needed specialized equipment.
