Mission

We are dedicated to sharing the history of our community. We will achieve this by research, collection and preservation of historical documents, artifacts, memories and events, and by utilizing interpretive displays and engaging in creative public educational programming.

Description

Since 1973, the Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society and Edmonds Historical Museum have dedicated itself to preserving and sharing the Edmonds and South Snohomish County community's heritage through exhibits, educational materials, and unique events. The organization cares for and preserves over 26,000 objects, documents, photographs, and books representing the rich heritage of our community, and it is part of the society's mission to share this heritage with the public while encouraging historical research now and in the future.
