To partner with our community to help older adults live independently and stay socially connected

Description

EFS assists older adults to successfully age in place by mobilizing community volunteers to
provide essential services and social interaction. We provide transportation to medical
appointments and access to food, help around the house and yard, and companionship for the
older adults in our community. The enduring and trusting relationships our volunteers and
clients develop are an antidote to social isolation and loneliness. If not for our free services, our
clients would pay $45/hour with 4-8 minimum daily hour requirements.
