Skilled volunteers are our specialty. Their speciality is compassionate action for our neighbors.

We're celebrating 31 years of Companis Worker volunteer placements in 2025. Companis is there for our vital area nonprofits seeking skilled help to deliver a variety of programs that strengthen our social safety net.  Individual donations represent our single largest source of support, accounting for 51% of our budget. That's why your donations through GiveBIG make such a difference. We grew our services during the COVID pandemic to include Snohomish County in our service area, expanding from Seattle and King County. 

Our Results 

Last year we increased our placements by 50%, making 111 long-term matches with nonprofits seeking help. The spike in demand continues in 2025, as great uncertainty abounds. We proudly continue to focus on human services program delivery, BIPOC-led and focused organizations, LGBTQIA+ advocacy and more. Long-term and project-length placements is our specialty, and every year Companis Worker volunteer professionals return provide more than $2 Million in costs saved and the value of services delivered to our community. 

Donations support our one program: matching skilled professionals to services needed in our community and supporting those volunteers with educational and professional programs that build community awareness and relationships. Companis Workers, placed with essential nonprofits in King and Snohomish counties, together served 42,000+ unduplicated clients through 67 area nonprofits with care and compassion in 2024.

We bridge the gaps that exclude many of us from healthy community by placing dedicated and compassionate professionals with essential nonprofit agencies seeking staffing assistance.
