serve primarily Black and brown youth and young adults in King County by connecting them to Ambassadors with shared life experiences.
believe criminalization and ostracization are ineffective deterrents to unproductive behaviors; and the carceral system further harms people who have already been negatively impacted by trauma
Our Programs
Family Integrated Transitions
CP-FIT works to support youth and adults in accessing therapeutic services, educational and employment opportunities, and leadership development programs as an alternative to incarceration with the goal of addressing underlying issues, gaining stability, and being part of the community in a productive manner, rather than relying solely on punitive legal measures.
School Based Programming
This preventative programming offers weekly culturally relevant curriculum, mentorship, and healing circles.
Not Forgetten
This holistic program supports Individuals transitioning from incarceration into community. Guided by participants’ needs and our team’s lived experience, we assist with employment, education, stable housing, financial literacy, family reunification and cultural connection.
Deep Dive
Deep Dive focuses on young men who are most vulnerable to being the victim of or participating in gun violence and provides mentorship and connections to vital resources.
Seattle Community Safety Initiative
SCSI is aimed at detecting and interrupting potentially violent conflicts, helping people change high risk behaviors, and partnering with the community to change norms and address root causes. School safety programs include intervention and prevention activities at middle and high schools and offers mental health resources and de-escalates conflicts to promote peace.
Recovery Navigators Program
RNP offers support for youth and adults struggling with substance use disorders with services such as community connection, long-term case management, and dedicated recovery coaching.
Regional Peacekeepers Collective
In partnership with Public Health - Seattle & King County, RPKC provides services such as de-escalating critical incidents and mitigating retaliation. hospital-based response, intensive engagement and wrap-around life-affirming care and resources to individuals and families impacted by gun violence.
OUR APPROACH
Our programs focus on personal healing, identity development, and leadership building through a 4 pronged approach:
prevent youth and adults from entering the criminal legal system
divert young people with legal charges out of the criminal system and connect them within community
support young people inside the criminal legal system and prepare them to return to community
reintegrate people coming out of the criminal legal system and rejoining community
