Community Network Council

Mission

The Community Network Council strives to build community through partnerships and collaboration in South King County. We facilitate three way relationships between youth, parents, and the community – and take a holistic approach to working with all three. We work to inform African Americans of societal changes which impact their communities and work to ensure a comprehensive view of youths and their families concerns are addressed, and utilize resources to support them in their progression.

Description

Through our partnerships CNC has provides mentoring, family engagement programs, delivered case management and wrap-around services, facilitated education discussions, and adventure experiences for youth; and other community events. We have a history of providing excellent relevant and culturally competent services to our diverse community such as the Pastor Ride Along Program, diversity and advocacy/leadership training, and performed community capacity building.
