Mission

Our mission is to improve conditions for native fish habitat in North Central Washington habitat restoration, community engagement, and education. Salmon are integral to the culture, ecology, and economy of our region and through our efforts, miles of habitat have been restored, hundreds of migration barriers have been identified for removal, individuals of all demographics have been inspired by our education programs, and volunteers have provided thousands of hours to restoring their local streams.

Description

Our mantra at Cascade Fisheries is "helping people help fish" and through our work, thousands of individuals are connected to their own role in salmon recovery each year. Your donation to Cascade Fisheries will directly support restoring critical salmon, steelhead, and bull trout habitat in our watersheds and continue our salmon education, community science, and stewardship programs that connect thousands of individuals to their role in salmon recovery!

100% of all donations will be used to support the development of salmon habitat restoration projects and educational programs such as:
+ Schools for Salmon - students study, observe, and raise salmon in their schools before releasing them into their local streams
+ Project: WOW (Watching Over the Watershed) - students monitor the health of local streams and protect the watershed through stewardship action
+ Kids In the Creek - hundreds of North Central Washington high school students connect with community partner agencies and organizations to investigate the Entiat River ecosystem.
