Books of Joy's mission is to empower children in underserved communities to achieve their full potential through access to education.

Description

The power of education is truly priceless, and something that many of us have had the privilege of taking for granted growing up. For millions around the world, however, it's nothing short of a near-unattainable dream. If you're someone who wishes to contribute meaningfully to unlocking access to education for those who need it the most, we encourage you to stand with us.

We strive to empower children in underserved communities in Nepal. We tackle education inequality through a series of systematic initiatives, ranging from funding scholarships, to building new libraries, to renovating entire schools. Some of our past projects have included:
- Building new school library for over 250 students
- Creating an immersive, education-focused summer camp for students affected by HIV/AIDS
- Fully funding schooling costs for 40 students via need-based scholarships

With your support, the impact we can create together is tangible and meaningful. Here is a quick summary of our upcoming projects:
- Continue to provide scholarships to underprivileged students
- Build new school libraries for 2,000+ students
- New playschool for 300+ students in early childhood education
- Revamping school bathrooms, impacting 1,000+ students (important for supporting gender equality)

Mother Teresa once said, "Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time." We too have the power to make a difference, one child at a time. Thank you for choosing to make a difference!
