The Coalition works to create a greener, healthier, more equitable, and better Washington for ALL through community outreach, network building, and advocacy for conservation and outdoor recreation funding.

Description

Who we are:

The Coalition is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization that brings together the conservation, business, recreation, hunting, fishing, and farming communities to speak about the importance of preserving access to our great outdoors.

What we do:

We unify the diverse perspectives of our members into one powerful voice to advocate for public funding programs like the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP), our state's largest public funding source for outdoor recreation and conservation projects.

We support communities to achieve their recreation and conservation goals, helping them to obtain public funding and better connect people to nature.

Our work helps to create and maintain parks, trails, wildlife habitat, working forests and farms across Washington, because everyone deserves access to our great outdoors.

We envision a Washington where every community benefits from the mental, physical, and economic benefits of outdoor recreation and land conservation.

We envision a Washington where every resident is able to play in and enjoy nature-whether that's out their backdoor or in the backcountry.

We envision a Washington where the natural beauty and interconnected ecosystems that make our state so unique are sustained in harmony for humans and animals alike.
