A Critical Moment for Housing Stability

Washington Homeownership Resource Center (WHRC) faces a financial cliff on July 1st when our federal funding expires. Without immediate support, our capacity to serve homeowners and homebuyers will drop by 78% – from nearly 14,000 households annually to just 3,000.

For 30 years, we've helped Washingtonians achieve and maintain stable homeownership. Now, we need your help to continue this vital work.

About Washington Homeownership Resource Center

Since 1995, WHRC has operated Washington's official homeownership hotline, providing unbiased, free information and referrals to vital resources. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we empower current and future homeowners with the tools they need for long-term household success and stability.

Our services include connecting Washingtonians with:

• Homebuyer assistance programs 
• Pre-purchase education and counseling
• Foreclosure intervention counseling
• Reverse mortgage counseling
• Owner-occupied repair assistance

WHRC is not a lender or loan servicer. We do not make loans or provide financial assistance directly. However, we help homebuyers and homeowners connect with financial assistance programs when available.
