Our Mission

Village Volunteers is a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with capacity-building NGO's to support the development of sustainable solutions to community challenges.

Our Work 

Village Volunteers is a grassroots organization that promotes self-sufficiency in rural villages in Africa and Asia by partnering with established community organizations in their quest to develop sustainable educational, economic, public health, food security, and environmental conservation programs for their communities.

Your support will help Village Volunteers in our work to: 

• Collaborate with local leaders and follow the lead of local communities to address common challenges in the communities we serve.
• Inspire future and current farmers through training in sustainable farming techniques, restorative farming, and agroecology. 
• Support health programs and outreach to underserved communities.
• Increase access to education for girls and vulnerable children.
• Conserve the natural environment and protect important watersheds.
• Increase access to clean water through locally manufactured water filters and solar-powered wells.
• And so many other projects defined by the communities where we work!
