The Sky Valley Food Bank is a non-profit corporation located in Monroe, WA, established in 1976 to provide supplemental food assistance to those in need. Our goal is to provide enough food for 10 meals per week for each family member, and we serve anyone requesting food assistance, without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, age, or socio-economic status. Our service area is comprised of residents of the Monroe school district, an 82 square mile area in the southeast corner of Snohomish County with approximately 40,922 residents (based on 2021 census data), 34% of whom are low-income, qualifying for free or reduced-price lunches. Clients who live outside our service area are given food upon request and then referred to their appropriate food bank.
