Shout Your Abortion

The future of abortion is ours. 

Abortion is still an option, even in the places where it is banned or restricted—but the path to access can be daunting and confusing. Shout Your Abortion (SYA) is a guiding light, empowering people all over the country to share life-saving resources and helping build a base of activists who are committed to maintaining abortion access no matter what.

Since 2015, SYA has been creating the future of abortion that we want to see. Not the future governments prescribe for us. Not the future our opponents wish on us. The future we want to see for ourselves.

We’ve changed the culture. SYA’s campaigns and messaging are utilized around the world and we have friends and co-conspirators everywhere. 

Our current campaign "You Always Have Options" amplifies and disseminates abortion resources in every state in the USA.

In the US, a large part of our work is focused on sharing safe abortion resources, especially in states where abortion is restricted. We don't know what will happen in the next four years in the US, but we do know that people will continue to need abortions. SYA is illuminating those options in the places where that need that information the most. 

We are raising $30,000 to help support our work in 2025.

Our current billboard campaign spans six areas across five states with total abortion bans, in partnership with local grassroots groups. These attention grabbing billboards link to YouAlwaysHaveOptions.com, a nation-wide campaign geared towards elevating safe abortion options, even in places where abortion is restricted. Widely sharing safe and reliable abortion information is one of the things we do best.

This is work that needs to be done regardless of who is in office, and it’s work that we are uniquely prepared for. SYA has always been uncompromising in our values, willing to say what others are unwilling or unable to say. We’ve always worked boldly, and we will continue to do so. 

Your donation to SYA will help us continue to share resources and pro-abortion messaging across the country, in both urban and rural communities. In addition to broad messaging initiatives like billboards, we support countless activists who are working to increase access in their communities, supporting them with materials, training, resources, and mentorship. And although our work is focused in the US, SYA has relationships with many international movements and we are extremely proud that our materials have changed the culture in places all over the world. These connections are growing stronger every day. As the fight for abortion access and bodily autonomy continues, our solidarity and commitment deepens.

Shout Your Abortion (SYA) is normalizing abortion and elevating safe paths to access, regardless of legality. SYA makes resources, campaigns, and media intended to arm existing activists, create new ones, and foster collective participation in abortion access all over the country.
