Seattle Print Arts

Seattle Print Arts is a member-run organization dedicated to fostering intellectual and artistic dialog in the printmaking community in Seattle and the Puget Sound and increasing awareness of and access to print venues across diverse communities.

The community our organization serves consists of artists from a range of economic levels and cultural backgrounds. Printmaking has a unique history involved in communication and the spread of ideas. By expanding awareness of this medium and access to facilities where prints can be made, SPA facilitates entry into this artistic medium for those whose access is limited. Additionally, often printmaking and art-making is a lonely process, especially if you did not attend art school or art, and SPA provides a space and avenue for connecting to community around printmaking and to continue to grow your skills.
