Mission

To communicate through music the desire for a just and peaceful world; to consistently present our message through choral excellence and non-violent activism; to celebrate life in all its diversity; and to build and sustain harmonious relationships and cultural bridges locally and globally.

Description

Seattle Peace Chorus promotes peace and justice through sharing of music and ideas, both locally and globally. SPC has traveled regionally and abroad to troubled areas, including the former Soviet Union, Cuba, Chile, Venezuela and the US/Mexico border.  Locally, SPC offers two annual major concert series and, based on the theme, reaches out to engage diverse audiences, to educate, inspire and entertain through the power of music. During the pandemic when live performances weren't possible, SPC continued to educate and inspire its audiences through virtual concerts and a series of presentations by local guest artists called Zooming with the Masters.
