The only professional, presenting theater in the Blue Mountain region, Gesa Power House Theatre is community-owned and operated by Power House Theatre Walla Walla, a women-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to increasing accessibility to the performing arts for everyone in our community. Support received helps to directly alleviate the burden many families experience of expensive 150+ mile travel outside our area to access similar life-enriching cultural experiences so often found in bigger metropolitan areas.
Our nonprofit theater presents events, ranging from concerts to comedy to live theatre, nearly every week of the year where we can connect and strengthen our rural community through the power of the arts. Our theatre also schedules a minimum of quarterly performances aimed at younger audiences, providing the only family-centric theater programming in our region. As a result, each year, approximately 18,000 patrons visit our building for performances, events, fundraisers and more.
Give today and support our arts education and outreach programs come to life for local students and local veterans.
Your gift provides arts for all including special student field trip experiences.
A generous donation helps maintain our historic building for future generations.
Your philanthropic support helps continue our mission of creating strong, inclusive community all within our beautiful, historic building. Gesa Power House Theatre is recognized by the Washington State Building Preservation Commission and by the National Register of Historic Places. Previously the Walla Walla Gas Plant over a hundred years ago, the building was converted in 2011 into a 300-seat, state-of-the-art performing arts theatre. Today, it is a hub for cultural and social activities, a community meeting place we aim to make accessible to everyone in our region. Thank you for considering a gift to Power House Theatre Walla Walla.
