Friends of Madison Park

Madison Park Community Council, dba Friends of Madison Park, was revived in the aftermath of Covid. Our Mission is promoting a resilient and civically-engaged community by connecting neighbors. Creating a welcoming and inclusive neighborhood through cultural and multi-generational engagement and outreach. Fostering neighborhood pride by promoting a beautiful, vibrant, and respectful community.

In the year since its inception, the neighborhood association has brought monthly family-friendly events to the community and beyond- from a Children's Parade and Picnic, holiday gatherings, Music in the Park Series, Speaker Series and upcoming Garden Tour and Second Chance Prom. All are welcoming city-wide and are free as much as possible.

To fund these events and projects, we have established Circle of Friends- as one time or monthly donor options. In 2023, we had a successful campaign to raise funds for lighting trees in the business district; this year we are beginning a fundraising campaign to Beautify Madison Park and bring year-round  flowering planters to the business area. 

In order to continue with these monthly events we are hoping to raise $25,000 through Circle of Friends donations.

In order to install flowering planters in the neighborhood we are hoping to raise $40,000 through our Beautify Madison Park Campaign.
