Kirkland Arts Center

A nonprofit organization

Mission

Kirkland Arts Center unleashes the power of art to ignite individual growth and self-expression, build community spirit, and cultivate cultural vibrancy.

We are driven by the belief that art has the power to change lives; when everyone has access to art, communities thrive.

Description

Your generosity supports local artists and ensures KAC remains a thriving arts resource and community well beyond the challenges we currently face. The commitment of donors like you ensures that this vibrant, local arts space remains a fixture in the community as the world finds a new normal.

For nearly 60 years, Kirkland Arts Center has brightened the community through engaging art classes, contemporary exhibitions, and free public events--all while stewarding our treasured, historic Peter Kirk Building. KAC offers art-making opportunities to youth and adults at all skill levels in a variety of mediums including ceramics, painting, drawing, and printmaking. The free-admission gallery presents eight contemporary art exhibitions each year and brings art into the community through numerous satellite exhibitions in public spaces. KAC is a creative community that is richly diverse and inspiring.

Recognition

Thank you so much. Your gift to KAC is a gift toward so much that makes life worth living: a sense of belonging and of self, connection, empowerment, imagination, mindfulness, and legacy. We are grateful and so are the many people your gift will touch.
