Established in 2017, Historic Wallingford is a volunteer neighborhood organization with the mission of fostering an awareness of and appreciation for Wallingford’s history and architecture. Your support helps Historic Wallingford connect residents and visitors with local history and businesses through activities like Exploring Wallingford brochures, a Speakeasy-themed party at Murphy's Pub,  The Wallingford Local radio show, neighborhood beautification initiatives, and website and newsletter features on local history.

Our initiatives in 2024 focused on celebrating Wallingford and engaging more with our local community through beautification projects, a self-guided exploration of lower Wallingford, and an interactive online map of the Wallingford-Meridian Streetcar Historic District

In 2025, we plan to build more community by hosting a Restore and Renovate Fair and Zoom workshops, recognizing legacy businesses, forming an education and outreach team to engage the public and children, and sponsoring additional beautification efforts.

Your support helps Historic Wallingford make these community activities happen!
