At Harper’s Playground, we believe that inclusion should be the rule, not the exception. Our mission is to build radically inclusive playgrounds that dismantle barriers—physical and social—to ensure that people of all abilities can play, connect, and belong.
It all started with one simple, powerful idea: when we design playgrounds for everyone, we create stronger, more compassionate communities. Inspired by Harper, a young girl born with physical disabilities, we set out to rethink what a playground could be. The result? Beautiful, nature-infused spaces that encourage interaction, spark creativity, and welcome children and families of all abilities.
Every Harper’s Playground project is grounded in three core principles:
Inclusion – Every detail is thoughtfully designed to ensure full access and meaningful engagement for people of all ages and abilities.
Nature – We prioritize natural materials and open-ended play opportunities that promote exploration, curiosity, and calm.
Community – These playgrounds are built by and for the communities they serve, fostering a sense of ownership, pride, and togetherness.
We’re not just building playgrounds—we’re building a more inclusive world, one community at a time. Your support helps us bring these vital spaces to more neighborhoods, ensuring that no child, caregiver, or community member is left on the sidelines.
Together, we can create a world where everyone gets to play.
