Harbor Hope Cat Rescue is a 501(c)3 non profit effort dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of ill, injured, disabled and special-needs animals. We are fully committed to giving each and every cat thorough diagnostics and treatment, often requiring extensive medical care and rehabilitation.

Description

Harbor Hope Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer organization specializing in ill, injured, disabled and special-needs cats, including geriatric. All cats are tested for FeLV and FIV, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites and given individual medical care as needed. They are kept separate from other cats for at least 21 days to rule out any possible virus transmission and to build trust and their sense of security. They are then integrated with others depending on disposition, age and dietary needs. Potential adopters are screened by application process, references are checked and home visits are made. Adoptions are lifetime guaranteed in that if the family is ever unable to keep the cat for any reason, he/she is returned to HHCR. Our full dedication to each resident assures that we will travel anywhere and spend any amount to guarantee them every possible chance at a good, healthy and full life. 100% of all financial donations go to medical costs, premium nutrition and litter.
