Furry Friends is a Vancouver, WA. 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill cat rescue and adoption organization.

Our Mission is to rescue the abandoned, the abused, and the forgotten. We specialize in cat hoarding situations, strays, neonates, and medical cases while providing clean living conditions, medical care, and an enriching environment full of love and care until adoption.

Furry Friends is funded by both individual and corporate donations; and as a 501(c)(3), non-profit, donations are tax deductible.

On Sept 25th, Furry Friends will participate in #Givemore24!, a day of giving that encourages individuals, communities, and organizations to come together and support the causes that matter most. This year, we’re setting our sights on an ambitious goal: raising $10,000 to go directly to medications, prescription food, and other medical supplies

Medications and prescription food play a critical role in managing the health of sick cats, often making the difference between recovery and deterioration. Many feline illnesses—such as kidney disease, diabetes, and hyperthyroidism—require targeted treatments that only prescription medications can provide, helping to control symptoms, slow disease progression, and improve quality of life. Similarly, prescription diets are specially formulated to support organ function, reduce inflammation, or manage weight, depending on the cat’s condition. Without these tailored interventions, sick cats may struggle to maintain proper nutrition or manage their illness effectively, leading to worsening symptoms or complications. Consistent veterinary care, combined with the right medications and food, is essential to giving a sick cat the best chance at a longer, healthier life.
